Historical and technical insight into the human motifs in the glass sculpture

Although glass proto-sculptures were made with deep artistic value since the most remote times, in late 19th century sculpture was developed, and during 20th Studio Glass Movement reached maximum level of technical perfection aesthetic variety. The scientific knowledge contributed to achieve appropriate hot cold working procedures, artists improved their designs creations. This paper focuses on binomial human motifs. historic evolution motifs is analyzed, taking into account production techniques relationships between work expression finished artwork.
